Our Story

A Heritage of Light, Refined in New Zealand

Light has always been part of our story.

For over three decades, our family has been involved in the lighting industry, developing a deep understanding of luminaire craftsmanship, technical performance, and the details behind quality lighting.

After moving to New Zealand in 2018, we immersed ourselves in the local lighting industry, working alongside homeowners, designers, builders, and developers on premium residential projects.

This journey allowed us to understand not only how lighting is made, but more importantly, how lighting should be experienced.

Amara Luce was created to bring together this foundation of technical expertise with a passion for architectural design — creating lighting solutions that feel natural, purposeful, and timeless.
